Film actor Shahid Kapoor is in discussion these days about his upcoming film 'Jersey' which will be released in theaters on 31 December 2021. Meanwhile, another film of Shahid has been announced. After the success of 'Kabir Singh', producer Bhushan Kumar is now going to make 'Bull' with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta and Shahid Kapoor has been cast as the lead actor for this film.
Set in the 1980s, the film is based on real life. Aditya Nimbalkar will direct this film, this will be his first film as a director.
Prior to this, Aditya has worked extensively with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. T-Series Chairman Bhushan Kumar said, "I am very excited to work with Shahid once again after Kabir Singh's stupendous performance at the box office. We are all set to bring to the audience an action-packed entertaining film. This is my first association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. We hope our hard work will come out in the form of a better cinema".
While talking about this film, Shahid said, 'Bull is a complete action film based on the life of Brigadier Bulsara. I will play the role of a paratrooper who is now known for his accuracy and bravery who led his boys through a historic and selfless mission. It is a matter of great luck for me to play the role of a paratrooper'.
Amar Butala, partner of Guilty By Association says that- 'Shahid will be seen in a tremendous avatar in this film. I am very excited to work with T-Series and Shahid Kapoor'.
The story and screenplay of this Shahid Kapoor starrer film are written by Aseem Arora and Parvez Shaikh. Aditya Nimbalkar will direct this film. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta, the film will be shot in early 2022. No information has been revealed about the name of the actress in the film yet.
