Rapper Honey Singh's personal life is in the news these days. Honey Singh has been booked in a case filed by his wife Shalini Talwar alleging domestic violence. The rapper's wife also claimed that Honey Singh had relationships with several women.
She said that when she caught Honey's sexual relationship with a girl red-handed during the shooting of 'Brown Rang De', the singer threw a bottle of liquor at her. Shalini has also named mother-in-law Bhupinder Kaur, father-in-law Sarabjit Singh and sister-in-law Sneha Singh in her petition. The report said that Shalini has sought protection orders and other reliefs against the atrocities committed by her in-laws.
According to media reports, Shalini has demanded a compensation of Rs 10 crore from Honey Singh under the 'Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act'. She has also urged the court to give Honey a rented house in Delhi for Rs 5 lakh for her where she can live comfortably as she is not a working woman and does not want to be a burden on her widow mother.
In her 120-pages petition, Shalini referred to the incident where she was subjected to domestic violence. Shalini said that Honey Singh panicked after their wedding photos went viral on social media, brutally thrashing her alleging that the photos were leaked by Shalini. Shalini said that Honey Singh did this because he wanted to hide the existence of his married life.
After Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence case, Delhi Court has issued notice to Honey Singh to file his reply by August 28. Meanwhile, the court has also passed an interim order in favour of Shalini and restrained Honey Singh from disposing of their jointly owned property case.
