This Friday, the two biggest films of 2020 have seen a direct competition at the box office. 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' directed by Hitesh Kevalya and 'Bhoot' directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh was released simultaneously. But both the films have received a strong setback after few hours of release. Both films have been leaked online in HD print.
Although piracy is not new in Bollywood, but from the past, due to piracy, films are suffering a lot. Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and the 'Bhoot' of Vicky Kaushal, which was released on friday has been leaked by the piracy website named Tamil Rockers. This is not the first time for Tamil rockers when they have leaked a big film like this. Kartik and Sara's film Love Aaj Kal, released last week in 2020, was also leaked by Tamil rockers.
Both Ayushmann and Vicky are National Award winners and their films are liked by the audience. But leaking of the film only hours after its release can affect the box office.
Talking about the story of both films, 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' talks about gay relationships, while Vicky's 'Bhoot' is a horror thriller. Now, how much leaking of Tamil rockers to the film will affect the box office, it remains to be seen.
