Big movies to be released on OTT

Corona cases are beginning to rise in country once again, prompting restrictions in places such as gyms, restaurants, and movie theatres. Due to the situation, the release of many major films has been delayed. Films are being seen maintaining covid protocols. However, the complete closure of cinema halls prior to the release date of many major movies has become a source of anxiety for filmmakers. Many major films were scheduled to be released in 2022, but due to Corona, the producers' hopes appear to have been dashed. If theatres are once again closed for an extended period of time due to Corona, many major films ranging from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ to ‘Badhaai Do’ will have to rely solely on the OTT platform for distribution.
BHOOL BHULAIYYA 2
The production of this film began in the year 2020, but it had to be put on hold due to Corona. Kartik Aaryan, the lead actor, was also infected with corona, pushing the film's release date even further. The producers had hoped for the film's release in 2022, but due to Corona, it seems difficult. According to reports, the makers no longer want to delay the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, so it might soon be available on OTT.
Badhaai Do
Ayushmann Khurrana's ‘Badhaai Ho’ sequel 'Badhaai Do' will star Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar. This film was supposed to be released on February 4, 2022, but since the cinema halls have been closed due to Corona, there are rumors that it may obe available on OTT soon.
Pippa
The war drama film 'Pippa,' starring Ishaan Khattar, may also be released on the OTT platform. In addition to Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Soni Razdan will be seen playing lead roles in the film.
Runway 34
The film Runway 34's release date has been kept as April 2022, but due to Corona, the possibility of this film being released on the big screen is bleak. According to reports, this film may also be available on demand. The film Runway 34 stars Big B, Ajay Devgan, and Rakul Preet.
Gehraiyaan
Gehraiyaan is also directed by Shakun Batra, who also wrote the script of the movie. The movie is a Hindi romantic drama. Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa will be seen in this film. This film is all set to have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 25, 2022. Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur will also be in pivotal roles in this film.
Brahmastra
The film will be released on September 9, 2022. The film is set to be released in five different languages. According to reports, if the situation worsens, the film may be available on Amazon Prime. The COVID- 19 pandemic significantly slowed the film's release. This film will cast big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Big B, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and Akkineni. Apart from these stars, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.
