After improving the level of pollution in the capital, Delhi, Environment Minister Gopal Rai took a review meeting today. In the meeting, several important decisions have been taken. He said that schools, colleges and all types of educational institutions in Delhi will reopen from November 29.
Gopal Rai informed us that we have decided in our meeting that all CNG and electric vehicles will be allowed to enter Delhi border from November 27. At the same time, except for CNG and electric, all types of vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi till December 3.
The Supreme Court is taking a tough stand regarding air pollution in Delhi NCR. During the hearing held on Wednesday, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that whatever the ban was till November 21, now the situation has become better. He said that on November 16, the Air Quality Index in Delhi was 403, which has now reached 290. Reports suggest that the situation will improve further by November 26 due to wind. On this, the court said that there should be scientific development to fight pollution and airflow in the coming days. Preparation can be done for this.
The court asked the Center an obvious question. In which the court said that we all survived because of the wind, but what did you do. On this, the Solicitor General said that the air pollution has come down. However, we will monitor it again after three days.
The court criticised the Center saying that when the weather is bad, measures are taken. Measures should also be taken to prevent air pollution. This is the condition of the national capital, imagine what message we are giving to the world.
