A careful look at the viral photo reveals that there is no tomb inside the iron railing, but an idol of Hindu deities. In the next phase of the investigation, reverse-searching the viral photo on Google, in the search result, we found this picture with information on a social media account named Lost Temple. It has been told in this post that this photo is of the Selandiyamman temple in Namakkal district, where the idol of Lord Nandi was found under the ground during the excavation of the temple complex.

During the investigation, we searched the keywords related to this information on Google. In the search result, we got the complete news related to the viral photo on puthiyathalaimurai.com. According to the website also this photo is of the Selandiyamman temple in Namakkal district of Puducherry. Where a thousand years old Nandi idol was found during the reconstruction work. Revenue officials have instructed the officials of the Archaeological Department to study the Nandi statue. Let us tell you that this news was published on the website on 5 September 2021.

It is clear that the claim being made on social media with the viral photo is false. This idol did not come out under the tomb but during the reconstruction work of the temple complex.
