Let us tell you that there will be 896 Indian and 318 foreign players. 10 teams are going to participate in this two-day-long mega auction. The auction will include 270 capped players, 903 uncapped players, and players from 41 partner countries.

Let us tell you that this will be the first major auction of IPL after the year 2018. There was a total of 8 teams in the mega auction of IPL 2018. But this time 10 teams will participate in the auction in 2022. The 10 teams together have spent a total of Rs 338 crore on 33 players.

17 Indian and 32 foreign players included in the minimum price of 2 crores

The special thing is that 49 players have been included in the list of minimum price of 2 crores released for this Big Mega Auction. There are 17 Indians on this list, while 32 are foreign players. Talking about India, apart from Ravichandran Ashwin, the names of Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, Suresh Raina are included in this list.

Auction to be held in Bangalore in February

The shortlisted names from the franchisees will be put up for bidding in the mega auction to be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. At the same time, apart from Rabada, Bravo, Warner, foreign players include big names like Adam Zampa, Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan, Mark Wood, Trent Boult and Faf du Plessis.
