Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has appreciated the action of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government in the case of Dalit oppression in Uttar Pradesh.  Mayawati said that even though it was late, the action was correct.  Mayawati tweeted about this on Saturday.  Along with this, she has also advised the state government.

Mayawati, the leader of the highly active Bahujan Samaj Party on social media, said on Saturday that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may have taken a late action, but it was correct to take action in the recent harassment case against the Dalit daughter in Azamgarh.  She came late, but it was a good thing.  She said that if action should be taken immediately and on time in the case of sisters and daughters, then it will be much better.

She said that whether in Uttar Pradesh, whether in Azamgarh, Kanpur or any other district, especially in the case of harassment of Dalit sister-daughter or any other caste and religion, there is a case of harassment with sister-daughter, whatever is condemned, it is less.  Along with this, no matter what religion, caste and party's biggest leader and no influential person is guilty, immediate and strict legal action should be taken against them.
