Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla will chair a high-level security meeting from Delhi today to review the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Director-General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh and Jammu and Kashmir intelligence chief Rashmi Ranjan Swain, among others, will attend the meeting from Jammu and Kashmir, while the Jammu & Kashmir desk in charge of the MHA will attend the meeting from New Delhi, which will take place today. There will also be a special discussion on the new challenge of target killing by hybrid terrorists.

The Ministry of Home Affairs' decisions in the previous high-level meetings and their implementation will also be discussed. The DGP and DGP CID are expected to give detailed information. They will give information on the prevailing security situation in the Union Territory with special reference to the Kashmir Valley.

Terrorist incidents have increased in recent days

In Jammu and Kashmir, especially the terrorists carried out the Target Killing last month. After that, the emphasis has been given to working on the strategy again. The state government and security forces took various preventive measures such as special security being provided to the workers. Along with this, emphasis was given to pay attention to those elements which are specially monitored. Also, experts say that it is true that the terrorists are stunned.
