IPL: People above 16 Years only will be able to Watch Matches in Sharjah

In Sharjah and Abu-Dhabi, entry will be given only after the RT-PCR report of 48 hours ago, whereas in Dubai RT-PCR is not required.

Phase-2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is starting from today in the UAE. The first match is between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in Dubai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has opened the stadium doors for fans with certain conditions in the IPL Phase-2 being held in UAE. Fans will be required to wear masks in the stadium, as well as they will also have to take care of social distancing. In Sharjah and Abu-Dhabi, entry will be given only after the RT-PCR report of 48 hours ago, whereas in Dubai RT-PCR is not required. Those taking two doses of the vaccine will get entry.

It is necessary to carry certificates of both doses of vaccine in Dubai

Fans visiting the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will get entry to the stadium with a certificate of having taken both doses of the vaccine. Fans will also have to follow all the rules of social distancing and wear masks at all times. Only those below 12 years of age are exempted from carrying vaccination proof.

People going to the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi to watch the match are also required to carry the report of the RT-PCR test done in 48 hours along with the vaccination proof. Whereas children in the age group of 12 to 15 years do not need vaccination proof, but for them the report of RT-PCR test done in 48 hours is necessary. Along with this, it is mandatory to follow the rules of social distance. Everyone's body temperature will be checked before entering. Once you leave the stadium, you will not be allowed to enter again.
