Lalu can benefit greatly from the change in power in Jharkhand. Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, lodged in Birsa Munda Jail in Ranchi, convicted of four fodder scam cases, can soon breathe in the open air. Lalu may get parole for a few days. There was a lot of talk about Lalu's independence in the political corridor of Jharkhand on Tuesday. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad's application for parole may be granted for permission to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Hemant Soren. However, Jail Superintendent of Birsa Munda Hotwar Central Jail, Ashok Kumar Chaudhary, has currently denied any such application. After the BJP was ousted from power in Jharkhand, the grand alliance of JMM, Congress and RJD has got the backing. In such a situation, it is believed that the days of Lalu, who is undergoing treatment for his serious illnesses in the Rims of Ranchi, will now return.

Here, JMM, led by Hemant Soren in Jharkhand, Tejashwi Yadav, the younger son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, a weaver of the grand alliance government of Congress and RJD, has reached the capital Ranchi. Tejaswi smiled at the question of Lalu's swearing in order to meet Governor Draupadi Murmu on the previous day. Tejaswi said that the RJD is very active about its role in the government.

Jail Superintendent Ashok Kumar Choudhary said that there is a rule-of-law for parole. It is given to the prisoner only in an accidental situation. Like if the family is married or there is something untoward. There is no provision for giving parole for one's swearing-in ceremony. He said that he has not received the application yet. Only after the application comes, they will be able to tell something in this regard.

Recently, Lalu Prasad Yadav's bail petition has been dismissed from the High Court. In the Dumka treasury case of the fodder scam, Lalu sought bail from the court on the basis of serving half the sentence. Which was rejected by the High Court after the hearing. Earlier, Lalu was granted bail from the Jharkhand High Court in Deoghar case.

Hemant Soren, chairman of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and future Chief Minister of Jharkhand, is scheduled to meet Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday. Lalu's younger son Tejashwi Yadav will also meet his father along with Hemant. Sources associated with Lalu say that at one o'clock in the day, the two leaders will reach the RJD supremo. During this period, the direction of the grand alliance government in Jharkhand and the political strategy going forward will be discussed.
