Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Rani Kamalapati railway station. This will be on November 15, during his visit to Madhya Pradesh. It has been informed by the Ministry of Railways that the Prime Minister will dedicate many railway initiatives in Madhya Pradesh to the nation. These include gauge conversion and electrified Ujjain-Fatehabad Chandrawatiganj big line section, Bhopal-Barkheda section, electrified Mathela-Nimar Kheri broad line section and electrified Guna-Gwalior section.
Prime Minister Modi will also flag off two new MEMU trains between Ujjain-Indore and Indore-Ujjain. The first world-class railway station in Madhya Pradesh has been named Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. It was in honour of the brave and fearless Queen Kamalapati of the Gond kingdom. The station, redeveloped under Public-Private Partnership (PPP), has been designed as an eco-friendly building. However, this station includes modern world-class facilities considering ease of movement for the differently-abled. The station has also been developed as an integrated hub for various modes of transport.
RT-PCR tests were conducted on about 350 people, including MP Governor Mangubhai Patel and CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. They lived near Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Bhopal on Monday. It was told that apart from the Governor and the Chief Minister, members of the Council of Ministers, MLAs, security personnel, officers and other people, who will be near the Prime Minister, were subjected to RT-PCR tests to confirm whether they were infected with the coronavirus or not.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the tribal convention and inaugurate the redeveloped Rani Kamalapati railway station on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh on Monday. This station was earlier known as Habibganj. However, the Center has recently announced to observe 15 November every year as Tribal Pride Day in memory of tribal leader and freedom fighter Birsa Munda.
