In Patliputra University (PPU), 18 departments of PG will be operated from 2019-20. On Saturday, the Department of Education sent the letter attached to the approval of these departments to the Vice Chancellor of the University.
Those PG departments have been approved include are Botany, Animal Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, Economics, Psychology, Philosophy, Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Computer Science, Commerce, Geography, Home Science and Sociology.
For the restoration of teachers and non-teaching staff in these departments, the university is being reviewed. In the letter sent by Special Secretary Satish Chandra Jha, it is mentioned that after the review, the notification related to the restoration will be issued. Gill Kumar Chaudhary, the Proponent of Patliputra University said that 11 divisions of PG are being run by the University in 2018-19. This is a great achievement for a newly created university. He said that accepting the establishment of the Computer Science Department is the best decision, given the University management system being implemented from the upcoming session.
Approval of schools affiliated to different departments in Munger: In Munger, 12 schools affiliated to different departments have been approved. In this, School of Life Science, School of Physical Science, School of Mathematical Science, School of Computer Science, School of Commerce and Management Studies, School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Yogic Sciences, School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, School Off Legal Studies, School of Continuing Learning and Professional Development Studies. Notification related to the restoration of teachers and non-teaching personnel will be issued after review.
A big achievement for the university will be: Patliputra University will start seven PG courses in session 2019-20 compared to the session 2018-19. It is being considered as a great achievement by the University administration. The University says that the trend of students will increase due to the start of the new course. To this, the state students, including the capital, will get the opportunity to study related subjects in their respective areas. At the same time, the number of students studying at the university will tremendously increase
