Kejriwal said that a few days ago some farmers of Delhi had come to meet me. They were very sad. Farmers told that their crops have been ruined due to unseasonal rains. Kejriwal said that in the last six seven years since the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Delhi, whenever the crops of the farmer brothers were ruined, the AAP government came forward and supported them. The Delhi government gives the highest compensation to the farmers in the entire country in case of crop failure. In other states of the country, somewhere 8 thousand rupees, somewhere 10 thousand rupees compensation is given, but the AAP government has given compensation at the rate of 50 thousand rupees per hectare.

DMs and SDMs are surveying where the crops have been damaged

The Chief Minister said that all the DMs and SDMs are surveying where the crops have been damaged. I hope that within 2 weeks we will complete all the surveys and after that, within one and a half months the compensation of the farmers will reach their account. CM said farmers should plant crops and spend money on them. Planting manure-seeds and after that, his entire crop is ruined, then the farmer feels very sad. He is left unfit to pay back the loan. But we are with the farmers and we will try to give your full rights as soon as possible.
