A big decision can be taken today by the US and its other allies regarding the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan. To isolate the Taliban in the world, all kinds of sanctions will be implemented or will be recognized, this decision can be taken in today's meeting. Sources having knowledge about the meeting of the G-7 countries have told this. Today Joe Biden can hold a virtual meeting with the leaders of the G-7 countries. In this meeting, there can also be talking about stopping the forces of America and NATO countries from Afghanistan for some time even after 31 August.

A European diplomat said the G-7 leaders would decide whether to recognize the Taliban at this meeting. If it has to be given, what will be its time? Apart from this, it will be agreed to work together in this meeting. The US and its allies are also surprised by the sudden capture of Afghanistan by the Taliban on August 15. Thousands of people are leaving Afghanistan every day since the Taliban took over. Meanwhile, the US and its allies are on the defensive rather than aggressive and are focusing on somehow getting their people out of Kabul.

The G-7 countries include the United States, Britain, Italy, France, Germany, Canada, and Japan. In this meeting, a decision can be taken on whether or not to give official recognition to the Taliban. Apart from this, some sanctions can be agreed upon to force the Taliban to comply with women's rights and international rules. British Ambassador to the US Karen Pierce said that in this meeting, Boris Johnson can insist on finding a solution together. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UN Secretary-General Jane Stoltenberg may also attend the meeting.

Britain said we want a solid strategy to deal with the Taliban

The British diplomat said that we want to prepare a concrete plan so that all of us can decide unanimously how to deal with the Taliban. We will judge the Taliban rule in Afghanistan not by their words but by their actions. If the G-7 countries agree to recognize the Taliban, then it will be a big decision. This will help the Taliban to get international aid, do business and interfere in diplomacy. However, it is less likely. It is believed that the G-7 countries can agree to impose some restrictions on the Taliban.
