Strengthening medicines worth crores were sold in two years from the caught call centre at Nirav Nikunj of Sikandra in Agra. The accused used to bring medicines from the pharma firm of Hathras. People used to use Ramdev's photos in online advertisements. Police are looking for the call centre operator and other accused.
Haridwar police raided the call centre on 12 November. Two employees Akash Sharma and Satish Kumar were arrested. Medicines worth lakhs were confiscated. These drugs were said to be potent. During the interrogation of the accused, it was found that the call centre has been running for two years.
Drugs were promoted online and on porn sites. Inspector Vinod Kumar, in charge of police station Sikandra said that JK Rana, ayurvedic doctor of the district had taken the sample. On getting information, it was found that the accused used to bring medicines from Hathras's company. Their price is also not high. This was confirmed in the interrogation of the company. They have been asked to give a copy of their license.
The accused were doing this work for two years. On July 28, Raju Verma, representative of Divya Yog Mandir Patanjali Face One Bahadarabad, had filed a case in the matter of selling Baba Ramdev's photo in the name of potency-enhancing drugs.
In this case, Gajendra Yadav, resident of village Bainipur, Dilip Yadav, resident of village Kuankheda, Rajesh Yadav, Gajendra Yadav, Balkishan, Badal Thakur, Piyush Kumar are absconding.
A gang selling fake sex enhancer drugs with the photo of yoga guru Swami Ramdev used to find customers by issuing advertisements on social media and pornographic websites. Calls from the customers on the telephone numbers mentioned in the advertisement were diverted directly to the centre.
Medicines were sent to the customers by booking orders from here. Hammer of Thor, Navya Group, RK Healthcare and SK Traders firms were used to ship the medicine. The arrested accused have disclosed these things during police interrogation.
