Tawa Paneer Tikka: Try this Delicious Recipe during Lockdown

Those who like Paneer, love every recipe of it, even if it is a Paneer tikka. Paneer Tikka is served as a starter which is very tasty. Making it at home is as easy as outside. You can also use tofu to make paneer tikka. If you do not have an oven, you can make it in a pan or non-stick pan or kadhai.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons gram flour

½ teaspoon turmeric powder

½ tsp black pepper powder

½ tsp celery

½ tsp Kasuri methi

1 tsp coriander powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 teaspoon dried mango powder

2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

¾ tbsp ginger garlic paste

4 tsp salt or rock salt

Method of preparation of Paneer Tikka:

1. First, take 2.25 cups of curd in a bowl or pan and whisk it well.

2. Then add all the spices including gram flour and salt.

3. Cut all the vegetables into thick pieces. Slice 250 to 300 grams of cottage cheese into thick pieces.

4. Mix all these things well in curd with your hands.

5. Then cover the bowl and keep it for 45 to 3 hours. If you want, you can also keep it for overnight.

6. To make Paneer Tikka, take a nonstick pan, add 1 teaspoon of oil and coat the pan with oil all around.

7. Pour the pieces of cottage cheese and vegetables in hot oil and fry them on both sides till they turn light brown, keep the flame slow while cooking them.

8. Paneer tikka is ready. Apply it to the wooden griddle and serve with onion slices and green chutney by sprinkling lemon, chaat masala.
