After a prolonged wait, Lord Shri Ram is set to grace his temple in Ayodhya on January 22nd. The inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir (Temple) and the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla will be conducted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi presiding as the chief guest.

Ensuring security for this occasion poses the most significant challenge for the police and administration in Ayodhya. Hence, meticulous attention is being paid to every detail.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is also being employed to control the crowd of Rambhakts and prevent any security lapses during the event.

Following inputs indicating potential security breaches, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an alert.

The Uttar Pradesh Police have deployed approximately 12,000 security personnel in and around Ayodhya, with 10,000 CCTV cameras installed.

Additionally, Artificial Intelligence is also incorporated into some cameras to monitor security violations and related risks.

Prashant Kumar, the Director General of Law and Order for the Uttar Pradesh Police, informed media channel that, "The Ministry of Home Affairs has dispatched a high-level cyber expert team to Ayodhya to address cyber threats before the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha program."

He stated, "The inauguration and consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a mega event. In light of this, intelligence agencies are continuously evaluating inputs related to potential misuse of the cyberspace. Alerts are being issued in response to this assessment."

Around the temple, approximately 400 cameras have been installed. Prashant Kumar stated, "We have installed around 10,000 CCTV cameras in and around the city of Ayodhya. Approximately 400 of these are around the temple, especially in the Yellow Zone. The Yellow Zone is the area where we are using Artificial Intelligence for the first time for facial recognition of suspicious faces."
