2 Terrorists Killed in Kashmir's Budgam, Search Operation Continues

Encounter in Budgam: Two terrorists were killed on Tuesday i.e. Jan 17 in a joint operation by the army and police forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam area.

It is being said that some terrorists have escaped by taking advantage of the opportunity.

The search operation of security forces against terrorists is going on in Jammu and Kashmir to nab the terrorists. Security forces have cordoned off the area.

Both terrorists were associated with banned terrorist organization LeT

There was information about the hiding of terrorists in the village of Budgam for about two days.

The Kashmir Zone Police has identified the terrorists as Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama. Both terrorists were associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

After the Rajouri incident, Home Minister Amit Shah is very serious about the security of Jammu and Kashmir.

He handed over the investigation of the Rajouri terrorist attack to NIA just two days back. Along with this, strict instructions have been given that no concession should be given to the terrorists.

J&K Police said that a joint area domination party of the Army and Police tried to intercept a suspicious vehicle in the Budgam district.

After this, the terrorists started firing on the joint area control party of the army and police. Two terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing.

Arms and ammunition have been recovered by the security forces from them. It is being told that two local people were also injured in the firing of terrorists.
