The Supreme Court bench has refused to quash the case filed against former MLA and Tamil actor S Ve Shekher.

A case is registered against S Ve Shekher for making objectionable remarks on women journalists.

Know What is the Whole Matter

In 2018, Shekher had posted an objectionable post on his Facebook about women journalists. In fact, the then Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwarilal Purohit was accused of indecency by a female journalist.

Shekhar had given his opinion regarding this allegation.

There was a lot of controversy regarding this post of Shekher. Shekher's resignation was also demanded by DMK, after which Shekher apologized and also deleted the post.

But cases were registered against Shekher in Tamil Nadu regarding this post.
