In a tragic incident at a studio in Noida's Film City area, a 24-year-old model lost her life on the spot, while a young man suffered severe injuries when a lighting truss (iron pillar) fell on them while they were walking the ramp during a fashion show.
The police were alerted immediately and promptly arrived at the scene. They swiftly rushed the injured man to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
During the fashion show held at approximately 1:30 pm, tragedy struck as an unfortunate incident unfolded. The police have identified the deceased participant as Vanshika Chopra, while the injured man has been identified as Bobby Raj.
Both individuals were actively involved in the fashion show when the incident occurred.
A case has been registered in connection with the incident, and the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem examination, as confirmed by the police.
