Channi assured to calm the matter

Chief Minister Channi has expressed hope that after a phone conversation with Sidhu on Wednesday, everything will be fine, but like the issues on which Sidhu is adamant, Channi is also accountable to the people of Punjab. Talking to reporters, he said that Sidhu has raised questions on the appointment of tainted politicians and tainted officials especially DGPs and AGs. Like him, I am also against sand, liquor, and drug mafia. I am also committed to the people regarding the issues of Punjab. I had made it clear on the very first day that the people of the mafia should not meet me in connection with any work. Whatever tenure I have, I will spend it fulfilling the promises made to the people. Punjab is and will be my priority.

State President can also be changed – Channi

Channi said that as far as the questions of the state chief are concerned, if the party leaders do not agree on any matter, then such decisions can also be reversed. The decisions taken by his government are not permanent. These will be replaced whenever needed.
