Shringar Gauri-Gyanvapi Case: After the verdict of the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri case, Uttar Pradesh Police has issued a high alert in the entire state.
Along with this, the police force has been increased in all the sensitive areas of UP. Also, a close watch is also being kept on social media.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that after the verdict in the Gyanvapi case, an alert has been issued in all the sensitive areas.
Patrolling is being done, and peace is being ensured. He said all police commissioners and district police chiefs have been directed to remain vigilant, patrol sensitive areas and keep a close watch on social media to ensure peace.
Also, district police chiefs and police commissioners have also been directed to hold meetings to maintain peace, while companies of PAC and RAF will be on standby in sensitive areas.
He said that core digital teams have been asked to keep a watch on the messages circulating on WhatsApp in sensitive districts.
The DGP headquarters is monitoring the law and order situation in the temple towns of the state including Varanasi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Prayagraj, Agra, and Chitrakoot.
On the day of the judgment of the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri case i.e. on Monday, the court said in its decision that the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri case is worth hearing.
The next hearing in the case is to be held on September 22. The Varanasi district court has rejected the application of the Muslim side in the Gyanvapi case. Overall, the verdict has come in favour of the Hindu side.
Manju Vyas, the petitioner of the Hindu side, while talking to the media said that the entire country is happy with the court's decision.
At the same time, after the decision of the court, the announcement of Har Har Mahadev kept resonating for a long time in the court premises.
Angered by the verdict, Merajuddin Siddiqui, the lawyer of the Muslim party, made a big allegation on the court that this decision is not justified. "We will approach the higher court against the verdict," he said.
