The Mars Mission of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was postponed for the third time on Thursday due to the bad weather. The UAE mission team has stated that it will now be launched by the end of this month. The name of this first mars mission of UAE is 'Hope'. It is to be launched from Japan's Tanegashima Space Center via Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' H-IIA rocket. Firstly, it was to launch on July 15. However, this did not happen and it was announced to launch on Thursday.

The weather condition in Japan has not been favorable from last week. Due to this, floods and mudslides have occurred at many places here on Kyushu Island. In such a situation, launching is not possible. Mitsubishi launch officer Keiji Suzuki had said last week that the mission could be avoided if rains continue.

Orbiter expected to reach Mars in February 2021:

The 'Hope' orbiter is expected to reach Mars orbit by February 2021. This mission is considered important for the UAE. It has three instruments that will study the upper atmosphere of Mars and collect information about climate change. The UAE said it would reveal a complete picture of the atmosphere of Mars in different climates for the first time.
