The new decision has now been taken amid the increasing cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra and the lockdown period till 31 July. Section 144 has been implemented in Mumbai, which will remain in force from July 1 to July 15. Under this decision, crowding the containment zone, gathering of one or more than one people is completely forbidden and this has to be followed from five in the morning till nine in the night.
However, in this section 144 people belonging to the important works like, media, banks, IT services and other have been exempted, but also conducting any kind of public program is still forbidden. If someone has to move out to get the necessary goods, then the person should go to a maximum distance of two km from his or her house as essential commodities can be bought from around. Significantly, in the past, Maharashtra had increased the lockdown till 31 July due to coronavirus. In such a situation, according to the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry, it is forbidden to go out from ten o'clock in the night to five in the morning.
Let us tell you that Maharashtra is the state where coronavirus cases are the highest than any other state in the country, as according to the Health Ministry data, nearly two lakh people have been infected here and about 8 thousand people have also died. In the past few days, about five thousand cases are coming up in Maharashtra, which is a matter of concern. However, so far more than 90 thousand people in the state have been cured by beating the coronavirus and if you talk about Mumbai, then there have been about 80 thousand cases reported in the city alone.
The number of people who are losing their lives due to coronavirus in the country is increasing continuously and during the last 24 hours, more than 500 people have died due to coronavirus in the country. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday, 507 people have died due to coronavirus across the country and the total number of deaths due to this virus reached to 17,400. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the cases of coronavirus in the country are also increasing rapidly, as, 18,653 new cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours, only after which the total coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 585493.
