I am very excited about this match and have come here with my family. The proceeds from the match will be given in South Africa. I think it is going to be very emotional because I wanted to play here for many years. I have come here to spend the holidays with the children.' The 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer's Foundation is working in support of educational and athletics programs for children in South Africa.

Federer and Nadal are each other's long-time rival and both played against each other for the first time at the 2004 Miami Open, where Nadal won in straight sets. In six of the last seven games, Federer has won over Nadal.

The Switzerland player further said, 'It is good to call one of your biggest tough rivals a friend. He is not my close friend and I am not his close friend either. I think we know each other well. ' Apart from this singles match, Federer will also play against Nadal in the doubles match. Federer's partner in the doubles match will be Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, while Nadal will team up with comedian Trevor Noa.
