UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal has apologized to the Brahmin community in view of the continuous protests after making controversial statements on Brahmins. Leaders of Vipra Sena today met Shanti Dhariwal. Dhariwal issued a statement during this meeting and apologized. On Friday, Dhariwal gave a statement on Brahmins in Alwar. After which many BJP leaders and Brahmin organizations protested.

Shanti Dhariwal said that a delegation of Vipra Sena had met today. However, the delegation asked me about the statement made about the Brahmin society. I told the delegation that I had referenced a conversation I had with a friend, I didn't think I should speak like this for any society. Especially for the Brahmin society, he is unable to speak. The Brahmin society is considered to be the guiding society. If someone spreads the illusion that there has been an insult, that is completely wrong, it is wrong to equate the context of a conversation I had with a friend to insult.

Controversy arose after this statement for Brahmins

Dhariwal had said in Alwar on Friday that I say to Brahmins, you have taken the contract of intellect. Mera Kota coaching institute is famous all over the country. How do 70 Baniyas out of 100 come in their result? How do you guys stay behind? They don't have the answer. When the result of Kota Institute will come, Jindal will be found, Jain will be found or Agarwal will be found. You will get such names.

Apologized after controversy escalated

Government chief Mahesh Joshi had advised Brahmin organizations to take Dhariwal's statement as a challenge rather than a criticism. Mahesh Joshi defended Shanti Dhariwal, but the political controversy was increasing due to Dhariwal's statement. Now Dhariwal has tried to end the matter by apologizing so that the party does not suffer from this controversy. On Saturday, Vipra Sena workers demonstrated outside Dhariwal's bungalow.
