Taj Mahotsav 2020: ‘Taj Mahotsav’ Starting Today in Agra, Know what will be Special this Time

Taj Mahotsav has started in Agra from 18 February and it will conclude on 27 February.

The purpose of the festivals held in India is to attract the attention of tourists from all over the world along with excitement and enthusiasm. One of these festivals is the Taj Mahotsav, which is held every year at Shilpagram in Agra.

The Taj Mahotsav begins on 18 February 2020. It will conclude on 27 February 2020.

Agra is recognized worldwide by the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is among the Seven Wonders of the World, in this sense; this festival becomes even more special. You can also enjoy a variety of colourful programs, song-music, dance, art-culture and delicious cuisine by joining the 10-day of Taj Mahotsav.

Held at Shilpagram near Taj Mahal, this festival is organised by Uttar Pradesh Tourism. The aim of which is to get tourists from all over the world to know about Shan-o-Shaukat.

The Taj Mahotsav started in the year 1992, since then it has been organised every year in the month of February.

Unique handicrafts from all over the world can be seen here. Apart from this, there are many colourful programs. In which dance and music can be tasted with delicious dishes. But apart from admiring the beauty of the Taj Mahal, by attending this festival, you can see beautiful utensils; things made up of wood, metal, brass, copper and also buy them. Apart from this, you can also buy traditional clothes, lamps, books, jewellery and beautiful paintings.

Agra is a good option for weekends where you can roam in a day from Delhi via Yamuna Expressway. Agra also has Taj Mahal and many other excursions around it. Apart from Taj Mahal one can visit Mehtab Bagh. This garden was conceived before the Taj Mahal. It is one of the places from which the view of Taj Mahal can be seen. You can also visit Fatehpur Sikri, which is located about 40 km from Agra. The city has been given the status of a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
