The war of words has intensified before the assembly elections in Punjab. State Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday described the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a party of 'Kale Angrez' which is trying to win the 2022 assembly elections. On this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that his complexion may be 'black' but his 'intent is clear'.

War of words is going on between the AAP and the Congress

Before the Punjab elections, a war of words is going on between the AAP and the Congress. Meanwhile, while addressing a gathering at Badhni Kalan in the Moga district of Punjab, Channi made a remark of 'Kaale Angrez'. Channi said that Kejriwal says that AAP will form the next government in Punjab. He said that do not people live in Punjab? Is there no youth in Punjab? Are there no Punjabis in Punjab? Will the 'black British' come here (state) and rule? Channi said that the '(White) Chitte Angrez' (British) were earlier driven out of the country and now these "black British" are trying to capture Punjab.

Punjab would be ruled by only its people, says Channi

Talking to reporters, Channi said that we are saying that Punjab belongs to Punjabis, you should not create disturbance here. Addressing a public meeting in Moga, Chief Minister Channi said that Punjab would be ruled by only its people. People like Kejriwal had absolutely no idea about the problems and needs of the people here.

Statement of AAP leader Raghav Chadha
