Allahabad High Court on Thursday slammed the petitioner who filed a plea in the court demanding to open the 22 locked doors of the Taj Mahal. The court while reacting to the plea reprimanded the petitioner strongly and advised him to not make a mockery of the PIL system.

Are we trained to hear such a petition
The two-judge bench including Justices DK Upadhyay and Subhash Vidyarthi showed their disgrace stating, ” are we being trained to hear such petitions? The court further asked the petitioner to better research over Taj Mahal and gather information regarding the same. The petition was filed by Rajneesh Singh, media in charge of the BJP's Ayodhya unit.

You’ll demand to visit our chambers too one day
Rajneesh, further asked the court to allow him to visit the 22 locked rooms of the Universal Heritage. The court while responding to it said, tomorrow you’ll demand to visit our court chambers too, that is not possible and asked to not make mockery of the PIL system.

No issue in opening of locked doors : AMU Professor

Nadeem Rizvi from the Historical Department, Aligarh Muslim University, reacted over the issue and stated,” there is no harm in reopening of those locked rooms. The doors were being shut down due to security reasons and if they are being reopened then is must be done under the supervision of court and should be videographed. Profeassor Rizvi suspected chances of deliberately creating ruckus over the row as he believed one might place some statues upon opening of locked rooms.
