Varanasi: Emergency Landing of CM Yogi's Chopper after Bird Hit

CM Yogi Adityanath's helicopter had to make an emergency landing after a bird hit in Varanasi today.

CM Yogi Adityanath's chopper had to make an emergency landing after a bird collided in Varanasi today. After the emergency landing, CM Yogi Adityanath left for Lal Bahadur Shastri International (LBSI) airport by road to leave for Lucknow by state plane.

Varanasi DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the pilot made an emergency landing of CM Yogi Adityanath's helicopter due to the bird hit. At the same time, the helicopter is being investigated after the bird hit.

Incidents of bird strikes have become more frequent because of the early signs of monsoon, as such incidents are more frequent with the onset of the season.

Earlier on Saturday, after a night stay in Varanasi after taking stock of development works, law and order, and inspecting several project sites, CM Yogi Adityanath was leaving for Lucknow by helicopter from Varanasi Police Line.

CM Yogi distributed online rural housing rights documents

On Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath distributed online rural housing rights documents to 11 lakh families under the SVAMITVA scheme in Lucknow.

In a function organized in the auditorium of Lok Bhavan, CM Yogi Adityanath distributed the documents and emphasized creating a self-reliant state.

He said that about 2.5 crore people living in the villages of UP would get these certificates by October next year.

The Chief Minister said that 34 lakh people have already benefited from the scheme, an official release said. The survey of land by drones in 1,10,300 revenue villages of the state will be completed by August, which will speed up the distribution of certificates to more people.
