India's star spin bowler Kuldeep Yadav is celebrating his 25th birthday today. Kuldeep took a hat-trick at the age of just 19. For India, he had got 5 wickets in all three formats, which no Indian spinner has been able to do so far. Born on 14 December 1994 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Kuldeep Yadav has made a place in Team India with his spin bowling. Kuldeep, who has become the life line of Indian bowling, made a mark with his bowling in the Under-19 World Cup. He got a place in Team India because of his excellent performance. Kuldeep Yadav, who bowled in Chinaman style, has taken a hat-trick a total of two times so far. He has taken a hat-trick while playing for the Indian team in ODIs, while he has also done so while playing in the Under-19 team. Kuldeep took a hat-trick against Scotland during the 2014 Under-19 World Cup. Kuldeep did a great job of taking a hat-trick while playing against Australia at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2017. He became the third Indian in ODI cricket after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev to do so.
Kuldeep is the second and only spinner from India to take five wickets in all three formats of cricket. Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar also holds the record for taking five wickets in all three formats. South Africa's Imran Tahir and Sri Lanka's Ajanta Mendis have also taken five wickets in all three formats of the game. Kuldeep is the third spinner in the world to do so.
