Pakistan's Test vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan on Thursday opened up on the life of cricketers in bio-bubble. He said the situation is putting the players under mental strain. Players are unable to ask for a break despite being under mental stress. Rizwan feels the players need a break from international cricket to be fresh for the upcoming T20 World Cup in UAE.

During a virtual session, Rizwan said, "It is not easy remaining in the bio-bubble all the time and we have been playing a lot of cricket in the last year and more. It is good for us but at the same time it becomes a mental strain on the players as well. The bottom line is we lost the Test after coming so close to winning it and it hit us and we are now looking to bounce back strongly in the second Test. I think it is also important to look at players who make small but game-changing contributions in a match. We need such impact players."

Pakistan to play second Test from August 20:

Pakistan cricket team is currently playing a 2-match test series against West Indies and the result of the first match did not go in their favour. Though Rizwan is hopeful that his team will make a comeback in the second Test, he said that the two-match series does not give enough time to the newcomers to test themselves. He said, "After coming so close to winning the first Test against West Indies, we lost and it affected us and now we want to come back strongly in the second Test. Every player who contributes to the game, no matter how small, there is a need to see such players. We need to include such talented players in the team."

Rizwan said that playing short series of two Test matches has been challenging for the team in recent times as it is difficult to give proper runs to the players and judge them. Pakistan's team will now play its next Test match against West Indies from August 20.
