Former Captain and Wicketkeeper of the Man in Blue team MS Dhoni decline the invite to inaugurate the pavilion named after him.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an ultimate and modest man and no wonder he has a polite way which he used to decline the invitation to inaugurate the pavilion which was named after him at JSCA Stadium, along with India's third ODI against Australia.

India and Australia teams reached on Wednesday for the third ODI of the five-match series which is going to held in Ranchi "the home town of former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni."

Same as Virender Sehwag stand at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, and  Sunil Gavaskar hold at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and now the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) stadium will have it is very own 'Mahendra Singh Dhoni Pavilion.'

Dhoni also gave the team India homecoming party as a dinner at home. Meanwhile, Dhoni was asked to inaugurate the pavilion of his name. On this, Dhoni denied with simplicity.

On Friday, both teams participated in the practice session. Team India, by winning both the first and second matches, has maintained a 2-0 lead in the series against an Australian team. In such a scenario, there is a chance to win an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the series by winning here in Ranchi.

Ranchi Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium, the pavilion stand has been named after MS Dhoni, but when the State Cricket Association contacted Dhoni for his inauguration, he refused with his simplicity and with all his modesty to inaugurate JSCA Secretary Debashish Chakraborty said, "Last year, the decision was taken to name Dhoni to North Block in the AGM.

MSD then said: "Dada mein toh isika hissa hu. Ghar ka ladka apne hi Ghar Mein kya inaugurate Karega? (I am a part of this ground. How can a person inaugurate something in his own home?)"
