Ecuador's President Lenin Moreno has uncovered plans to dispatch a joint bid with Colombia and Peru to have the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The proposition faces rivalry from other South American bid involving Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile. "I have proposed to Presidents Ivan Duque [Colombia] and Martin Vizcarra [Peru] that we organize the World Cup in Ecuador, Colombia and Peru in 2030, the year in which South America is favored to host [the event]," Moreno said on Twitter.

He included that his government would furnish the Ecuadorian Football Federation with the fundamental help to "make Ecuador's dream come true,"  without giving subtleties. Neither Duque nor Vizcarra have remarked on the proposition.

Argentina and Uruguay initially declared that they would strive for the 2030 World Cup over two years prior. Paraguay joined the offer in October 2017 preceding Chile was formally added to an appointment in March this year. Different nations that have indicated enthusiasm for facilitating the 2030 World Cup are China, Britain and Ireland and a gathering containing Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.

The World Cup has never been held in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru or Paraguay. Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina have each separately organized the World Cup once previously: in 1930, 1962 and 1978 individually. The 2030 World Cup will be held 100 years after Uruguay won the tournament's inaugural edition as hosts.
