GT Vs CSK TATA IPL 2023 Final: The finals of the TATA IPL 2023 which was supposed to be played yesterday was abandoned due to the persistent rains in Ahmedabad.

It rained so much that even the toss didn’t take place and at 11 PM IST, the match officials decided to call the match off and postpone it for today, Monday, 29th  May 2023, at the same venue Shri Narendra Modi Stadium and at the same time (7.30 PM IST).

For the first time in IPL history, the final match had to be rescheduled to the reserve day.

The eagerly awaited clash between the top two teams of the tournament is set to determine whether CSK secures their fifth title or if GT can successfully defend their crown, joining CSK and MI as the only teams to achieve this feat in IPL history. Fans are filled with anticipation to witness the outcome.

Taking about the history, the orange cap holders of this cash-rich league tournament have done well to take their teams to the finals.

But only two players have won the IPL title when they donned the orange cap and the rest of the 13 players in the past 15 seasons have not been successful.

Shubman Gill is the current orange cap holder from GT. He has scored the most runs and centuries. Till now, Gill has scored 851 runs with three centuries in a single edition of this event.
