After winning the third test against India, England team has received another good news ahead of the fourth Test.  According to the ECB, fast bowlers Mark Wood and Chris Woakes have passed the fitness test and are available for selection in this match. England coach Chris Silverwood made it clear that both the fit players can be part of the playing XI. Fast bowler Mark Wood and all-rounder Chris Woakes were named in England's squad for the fourth Test against India after regaining full fitness, while Jos Buttler has been ruled out because of the expected birth of his second child.

Saqib Mahmood dropped from squad:

Silverwood on Sunday said, "We would like to wish Jos Buttler and his family all the very best for the impending birth of their second child. Unfortunately, he will miss this Test. We'll then see if he returns for the final Test at Emirates Old Trafford."

Woods injured his right shoulder while fielding during the second Test at Lord's, while Woakes has also recovered from a heel injury that kept him out of international cricket after the one-day series against Pakistan in July. He played in a domestic T20 team on Friday. In the absence of key players like Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, it would be good for the team to include Woakes. In Buttler's absence, Jonny Bairstow will take over the responsibility of wicket-keeping. Sam Billings has been included as the reserve wicketkeeper. Fast bowler Saqib Mahmood has been dropped from the team. The fourth Test will start from September 2 at The Oval.
