IND vs SL: Special Chemical Used at Holkar Stadium to Counter Dew Factor

The Indian team will play the second match of the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka at Holkar Stadium in Indore today. The first match of the T20 series was abandoned in Guwahati due to rain. Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association is all set to ensure that there will be no problem in the second match. Special arrangements have also been made to ensure that there will be no problem with dew in the match. The MPCA is using a special chemical to deal with dew at Holkar Stadium. The second match of the three-match series between India and Sri Lanka is to be played here in which dew can make it difficult for the players. According to the sources, Samander Singh Chauhan, Chief Curator of MPCA said that special chemical is being sprayed here for the last three days to counter dew factor.

He said that apart from spraying special chemical to deal with dew, the grass of the field has been given continuous water for the last three days. Samandar Singh said, "We hope that those coming to watch the match will get to see fours and sixes here." The first match of the series was to be played in Guwahati but was canceled due to rain. After winning the toss, Indian captain Virat Kohli decided to bowl. The match was to start at seven in the evening but it started raining 15 minutes before the match, which led to cancel the match. The weather is expected to be clear in the second match.
