ODI Asia Cup 2023: India will face off against Nepal in their second match of the ODI Asia Cup 2023 today. India had started their campaign of the fifty overs Asia Cup against Pakistan.

India didn’t bat that well against the men in the green side. The innings was rescued due to a brilliant 138-run partnership between Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan.

India’s top order was blown away by the pace bowlers of Pakistan. Rohit, Kohli, Gill and Shreyas were dismissed early.

India got 266 runs mainly because of Hardik’s 87 and Kishan batted at the number five position and scored brilliant 82 runs.

The bowlers of the men in blue didn’t get a chance to shine because of the rains and in the end, the game was abandoned.

Jasprit Bumrah will Miss the Game Against Nepal Today

Jasprit Bumrah will Miss the Game Against Nepal Today

Today’s game against Nepal has the uttermost importance for the men in blue side. They will not make the mistake of taking the Nepal side lightly, especially after what happened in their first outing.

The batting of India will be in prime focus and the team will even miss their star pace bowler, who has gone home.

Jasprit Bumrah will not play this match against Nepal today. Either Mohammed Shami or Prasidh Krishna might replace Boom Boom Bumrah in this encounter today at Pallkele Stadium in Sri Lanka.

Bumrah has become a father of a baby boy. He had shared a picture of his son on his Instagram account @jaspritb1.

Boom Boom Bumrah is an important player for the Indian Cricket Team in the ODI Asia Cup 2023 and during the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, which will start next month in India.

Jasprit had made an impressive return to the cricketing action in the series against Ireland and he scored more runs than Rohit and Virat in the game against Pakistan.

Bumrah has decided to be with his wife Sanjana Ganeshan after the birth of their first child, a baby boy. Sanjana Ganeshan is a popular sports anchor and a qualified engineer.

The reports say that Boom Boom Bumrah will be back with the Indian Cricket Team during the super four rounds of the ODI Asia Cup 2023.

India will play against Pakistan again in the later stage of this year’s tournament. The first match of the Super Four round will be played on Wednesday, 6th September 2023.
