The two-match Test series between Pakistan and West Indies ended on Tuesday with visitors winning the second test by 109 runs to level the series 1-1. Pakistan went to West Indies for a five-match T20 series and a two-match Test series against hosts, but the T20 series was later reduced to four matches. Even out of the four matches, the result of only one match came out. Meanwhile, the three matches had to be canceled due to rain.
In fact, in the second test match, rain had spoiled the day's play completely. In such a situation, the chances of the match being drawn were high, but the bowlers of the Pakistan team, especially Shaheen Afridi showed a strong game and sent 10 West Indies batsmen back to the pavilion in both the innings. Shaheen Afridi took 6/51 in the first innings and took 4 wickets in the second innings.
Talking about this match, Pakistan, batting first, declared the innings at 302/9 on the basis of Fawad Alam's century. Then, bowled out West Indies for 150 runs in the first innings. In this way, Pakistan got a lead of 152 runs. The team scored 176 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the second innings and declared the innings. Meanwhile, West Indies had a target of 329 runs to win, in response to which the team was bundled out for 219 runs and lost the match by a margin of 109 runs.
