Pulkit Sharma

The much-awaited Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 will be played tonight between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. The match will be played at World’s Largest Cricket Ground Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan had a fantastic journey so far, whereas Bengaluru made an astonishing comeback in the tournament and managed to finish at number four. However, both the teams are now just one step far from knocking on the final door of the tournament. The best performer would be facing Gujarat Titans Sunday for the final knock. Since both the team consists of a balanced playing 11, the match is expected to raise the bar.

Rajasthan- The balanced team throughout the season

From the beginning of this IPL, Rajasthan Royals has given extraordinary performance. Rajasthan's batting has been excellent throughout the season and Jos Buttler had not given a chance to anyone to go off the Orange Cap from him. However, in the second half of the season, Jos's bat remained silent but spoke fiercely in the qualifier match. On the other hand, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikal are forming an outstanding top order of the team. At the same time, the bowling attack consisting of Trent Boult, Mccoy, Neesham, Ashwin, and Chahal also looks very strong. Rajasthan, thus, owns full numbers in both batting and bowling departments.

RCB’s batting order- A challenge to Royals

Talking about RCB's batting, the team is adorned with those fierce batsmen who can tear down any bowling order in the world. While Plesis have been creating wonders, King Kohli had also gathered his form back and thus can turn the tables at any given point of time. Besides them, Rajat Patidar has also been delivering well with his bat while DK has proven himself as Sankatmochan for the team

Top Performers so far

Best Batsman of the match Jos Buttler:

Sitting right at the top of most runs list, RR batsman Jos Buttler would for sure be willing to hit another impactful knock in the Qualifier 2 match. The orange cap holder has stroked 718 runs so far and wants to make his team qualify for the tournament's final match.

There's a stiff competition between Hasranga and Chahal for the Purple Cap

Best Bowler of the Match Yuzvendra Chahal:

Yuzi, the Purple Cap holder for the season would once again be playing against his former franchise. The leg-spinner has scalped a total of 26 wickets so far and would be willing to add some more wickets to his bucket, thus, securing the purple cap for the season.
