RR Vs CSK 17th Match TATA IPL 2023: The 17th match of the Indian Premier League season 2023 was played yesterday, i.e. 12th April 2023 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

This encounter was played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) Vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The match was again full-on entertainment as it went till the last ball.

However, the home crowd went in agony as CSK couldn’t finish the game in style as the Double R’s held their nerves while they defended a good score and also won the match by 3 runs.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the skipper of the CSK side had led his team for the 200th time in the Indian Premier League, which is the most in the history of this cash-rich league tournament.

The MA Chidambaram Stadium was jam-packed as everyone gathered to see their star skipper and batter MS Dhoni, who is also known as the Thalai in Chennai.

With that, the people who couldn’t go to the stadium also watched this game through digital platforms. More than 20 million people watched the final over drama.

2.2 crores Indian fans held their breath as their old memories rushed back. Still, it wasn’t a fitting end according to the fans of the Yellow Army.

But the time stood still when Mahi pulled off those amazing sixes in the last over which allowed the crowds to cheer for their favourite team, CSK.

Rajasthan Royals has jumped to number 1 on points table

Every match in this TATA IPL 2023 has been a nail bitter. There have been some exciting finishes like all the previous seasons of this cash-rich league tournament.

The points table in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League is updated after every match and after their close win over the Yellow Army, The Royals have jumped to the 1st position with 6 points.

With RR (Rajasthan Royals), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has also earned six points in the current points table.

Both RR and LSG have played 4 matches this season so far, won three games and lost one match till now. The only difference between these two teams is the net run rate (NRR).

After smashing five sixes in the last over, Kolkata Knight Riders have earned four points and the other three teams are also on the same number of points in the current table.

The teams like Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings also have 4 points under their belt.

While Mumbai Indians opened their account with two points in the last game when they won against Delhi Capitals.  

Royal Challengers Bangalore started the season with a bang after their win over Rohit’s MI.

But those two heavy losses have allowed them to earn just two points till now. Sunrisers Hyderabad displayed a good all-round show in their last game against Punjab Kings and they also got 2 points.

While the Delhi Capitals (DC) team has not earned any points now in four matches played so far.
