Test Cricket: Every player who wants to be a cricketer has a dream to play Test Cricket for the country.

Every year many players get a chance to represent India but after a series of poor performances, those players are dropped from of the team and the other players who have consistently performed well, continue to play for the country for many years.

Making a Test debut should be the ultimate thing for any youngster in India and if they perform well on their debut test, then it is the most wonderful moment in their Test match careers.

This performance should also give them the confidence to do well in future matches for India.

Today in this article we will let our Indian cricket fans know about 2 current bowlers of India, who have taken the most wickets in their Test debut.

1. Mohammad Shami

India's Mohammad Shami

Mohammed Shami has been India's leading weapon of fast bowling. Shami made his Test debut against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata.

In this match, this lethal bowler made a significant contribution to his team's victory. He got 4 wickets in the first innings and bagged his maiden 5 wicket haul in the second innings of that test match.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin

India's Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin was once the most preferred spin bowling all-rounder for India across the format when MS Dhoni was the skipper of Team India. Now he is the second bowler to be featured on this list.

Ashwin made his Test debut against the West Indies at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi. In this match, Ashwin made a total of 9 batsmen out which also includes a 3-wicket haul in the first innings and a 6-wicket haul in the second innings.

Now Ashwin is the best choice for India in the Test matches alongside Ravindra Jadeja.

India’s next red-ball series will start against South Africa in December 2023 when the men in blue side will tour the Proteas nation.

India will also play against the Bazball style when Ben Stokes and his England team will tour India for a five-match series against Rohit and his men in January 2024.
