ODI Asia Cup 2023: Team India started the ODI Asia Cup 2023 event against the arch-rivals team of Pakistan.

But their first match was ruined by rain and the men in the green side did not get a chance to bat. In the end, that game was called off.

India won against Nepal by 10 wickets in their second match and also won the super four-round matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

However, the men in blue lost the match against Bangladesh before the final when the senior players were rested from that dead rubber match.

Now the men in the blue side will face the Aussies in a three-match series of the fifty overs format, which will start from Friday at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

In this segment, today let us see the three highest individual run makers from team India in the ODI Asia Cup 2023.

1. Virat Kohli

India's Virat Kohli

The Blues batted splendidly well in their first match of the Super Four round against Pakistan. India was dominant from ball one.

India piled up 356 runs on the board and in that, Virat Kohli slammed unbeaten 122 runs which was the highest score in that game.

2. Shubman Gill

India's Shubman Gill

The young opener Shubman Gill has made a good name in the international cricket arena. He is known as the Prince by many experts and fans.

In the losing cause, Gill tried to take India home in the last game of the Super 4 round. But India fell 6 runs short of that target.

Gill was the highest run scorer for India in that match and the whole tournament. His 121 runs was the second-highest individual score by an Indian player in ODI Asia Cup 2023.

3. KL Rahul

India's KL Rahul

This player from Karnataka has made a brilliant comeback to the international level and that too after a long injury layoff.

KL Rahul batted at the number four spot. Now KL is all set to lead India in the first two ODI matches versus the Aussies as well.

He was unbeaten on 111 runs alongside King Kohli who broke many records in that game against Pakistan. KL and Kohli even shared a mammoth stand which took the game away from the men in the green side.
