1st match – India Vs Pakistan 14 September 2007 Durban

The first edition of the T20 World Cup was played in 2007. India and Pakistan were in the same group in this World Cup. The match between the two teams was a close contest. Batting first, Team India scored 141 runs. Chasing the target, Pakistan also scored the same number of runs and the match was tied. After this, the result of the match came out by ball-out.

Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Robin Uthappa did three throws from India's side. All three throws from India went to the wicket. Three throws were also made from Pakistan's side, but none of their throws hit the wicket and Team India won the match.

Second match – India Vs Pakistan, 24 September 2007 – Johannesburg

After the group match, both the teams met once again in the final. India won the toss in the match and decided to bat first. Team India's opener Gautam Gambhir played blistering innings of 75 runs in 54 balls. He hit 8 fours and two sixes during his innings. Apart from him, Rohit Sharma played stormy innings of 30 runs in 16 balls.

India scored 157 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Chasing the target, Pakistan had a very poor start. Pakistan lost their 6 wickets for 77 runs, but Misbah-ul-Haq took the match till the last over. In this over, Pakistan needed 13 runs to win, but Misbah was dismissed for 43 and India won the match by 5 runs. With this, Team India also became the winner of the first T20 World Cup.

Third match – 30 September 2012 – Colombo

The 2012 T20 World Cup was held in Sri Lanka. This match proved to be one-sided for Team India. Batting first, Pakistan's team was all out for just 128 runs. Lakshmipathy Balaji bowled amazingly in the match. He gave 3 blows to the Pak team. For Team India, Virat Kohli showed his bat and scored 78 runs in 61 balls. He was given the man of the match award. India won this match by 8 wickets.

Fourth match – India Vs Pakistan – Dhaka – 21 March 2014

This match also proved to be very easy for India. Pakistan batted first and scored just 130 runs in 20 overs. Amit Mishra took 2 wickets for 22 runs while bowling brilliantly in the match. He also bowled 1 maiden over. Kohli was once again the highest run-scorer for the team. He scored 36 runs in 32 balls.

5th Match India Vs Pakistan, 19 March 2016 Kolkata

India Pakistan match in 2016 World Cup was played in Kolkata. Once again the Pakistan team batted first and they again proved to be laggy. He scored just 118 runs in 20 overs. However, when Team India came to bat, India got initial setbacks.

Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Sami dropped India's three wickets early, but Virat Kohli scored 55 runs in 37 balls to once again end Pakistan's dream of winning the World Cup against India there. He hit 7 fours and 1 six during his innings. Team India won this match by 6 wickets. Virat Kohli once again became the man of the match against Pakistan.
