WTC 2023 To 2025: In the new cycle of the World Test Championship 2023 to 2025, Pakistan stands first in the rankings.

The men in green won the first Test Match at Galle International Stadium against the hosts, Sri Lanka by four wickets and led the two-match series of the red ball format by a margin of 1-0.

India also started their new cycle of the WTC with a win against West Indies. Team India won the first Test match at Dominica by an innings and 141 runs to start their 2023 to 2025 WTC Cycle.

However, the rains forced the second red ball match to end in a draw. Rohit Sharma and Co were also clear favourites to whitewash the Windies and win the series by a margin of two nil.

Pakistan has broken India’s Perfect Record

Team India had started their new WTC 2023 to 2025 Cycle quite perfectly after they won the first Test match against West Indies.

But the draw in the second Test match against The Windies on this Caribbean Tour has spoiled the party of the men in blue side and their previously held 100 per cent win record has been broken due to that.

Pakistan on the other hand has started a new cycle with a win and they won a Test match after a gap of one year which has helped them to start the new cycle of the World Test Championship with a win as well and also rise above their arch rivals Team India in this case.

If the last day of the 2nd Test wouldn’t have been a washout then India would have been in the first position in the rankings by now.

Pakistan is in dominating position in the second Test match at Colombo

The men in green had a close win of just 4 wickets in the first Test match which was played at Galle International Stadium in Galle.

But they are dominating the second and the last red ball game of this tour to Sri Lanka in 2023. The last Test match is currently going on at Colombo and Pakistan will win the series by a margin of two nil.

The bowlers of the men in the green side did a fantastic job and they bundled out the home-side batters of Sri Lanka for just 166 runs in 48.4 overs.

Now Pakistan has gone past the low 1st innings score of the Sri Lankan side and the batters of the visiting team will look to get more runs to put the home side under the mountain of runs.
