WTC Final: Two Spectators Thrown out of Stadium for Racist Comments Directed at Ross Taylor

Two spectators were thrown out of the stadium on the fifth day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand on Tuesday for abusing New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor.

Two spectators were thrown out of the stadium on the fifth day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand on Tuesday for abusing New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor. The International Cricket Council (ICC) received a complaint via Twitter from a fan watching the match on television. Regarding this incident, a fan tweeted, "@ICCMediaComms hey folks, is there anyone at the ground taking note of crowd behaviour? There is a patron yelling abuse at the NZ team. There's been some pretty inappropriate stuff throughout the day, including reports of racist abuse directed at LRPL Taylor."

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) took immediate action and they were identified by sending security officials and two of them were immediately thrown out of the stadium. If we talk about the match, then New Zealand team, playing from 101/2 ahead, lost all their wickets on 249 runs on the fifth day of the match. In this way, the Kiwis got a lead of 32 runs, as India were reduced to 217 runs in the first innings. At the same time, India has scored 64/2 in the second innings.

Taylor scored 11 runs in 37 balls:

According to an ICC spokesperson, "We received reports of abuse directed at the New Zealand players. Our security team was able to identify the culprits and they were ejected from the ground." Meanwhile, Ross Taylor failed to score for the team after coming on following the dismissal of Devon Conway. In 37 balls, Taylor only managed to score 11 runs.
