Bihar: Delegation of 23 Members came from Mongolia Tested Corona Positive

A report of a person from the delegates of twenty-three members who came to Bodh Gaya from Mongolia have covid positive. As before long as its RT-PCR report came positive, there was a stir from New Delhi to Gaya. The delegate, led by Mongolia's parliament speaker, Gombojav Jhandanshtar, and met Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on 1st December.

Gaya District Magistrate Abhishek Singh said that the positive member has been admitted in the isolation ward of Magadh Medical College. Doctor says, 'The sample will also be sent outdoor for diagnosis, so that concrete information can be obtained about Omicron. The patient is quarantined for 10 days as of now.

This group of 23 delegates along with the Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia reached Gaya on December 2. People came to Gaya via Delhi. They were also welcomed in Delhi before coming to Gaya. Their antigen and RT-PCR test were done at Gaya airport, but they were not quarantined, while the GOI has a clear order that every foreigner will be quarantined upon entry into the country.

Foreign guests also visited the shrine of Lord Buddha on the Dungeshwari mountain of Bodh Gaya followed by the darshan and bow to Lord Buddha in the Mahabodhi temple. The entire team of the district administration was also walking together for their hospitality.

Deaths occurred due to corona in Bihar

Death toll from Covid in Bihar has increased by 2,424 on Friday. As of 2 December, the total number of deaths due to covid in the state was 9,664, which grew to 12,089 on December 3. According to the Health Department, the numerals have been updated after examining all the records for deaths from Covid within the last 1.5 years.

Earlier on June 9, the death toll was updated by the government, when 3,951 extra deaths were added. After this, the GOI had formed a state-level panel to review the deaths before June 7, after verification, the death toll has been revised again and added 2,424 deaths at a time. Patna has a tremendous number of 445 extra deaths.
