However, Member of Parliament Chirag Paswan criticized the state government, pointing out the failure of law and order in Bihar.

He questioned the Chief Minister's silence on the journalist's murder and accused the government of becoming indifferent to public concerns.

Paswan demanded answers from the authorities and highlighted the deteriorating sense of security among police personnel and citizens alike.
