ED Summons Kejriwal Again in Excise Policy Case, Scheduled for Questioning on December 21

Since Independence

Excise Policy Case: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again issued a notice to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the financial irregularities linked to the excise policy.

Kejriwal has been summoned for questioning on December 21. Earlier, the ED had called Kejriwal for interrogation on November 2.

However, Kejriwal had contested the notice, terming it unlawful, and demanded its withdrawal.

ED's Latest Notice Baseless, Says AAP MP Sandeep Pathak

Sandeep Pathak, an AAP parliamentarian, responded to the new notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by stating that the case is entirely fabricated and baseless.

According to Pathak, there is no substance in this case, and it is an attempt to frame false charges. He added that when someone questions Prime Minister Modi, the PM gets him arrested. PM Modi has deep enmity with Arvind Kejriwal and is most afraid of him.

Kejriwal's ED Appearance Still in Suspense

Meanwhile, there is suspense over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's appearance before the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED has summoned Kejriwal to appear on December 21, while Kejriwal is scheduled to undergo Vipassana meditation from December 19 to 30 as part of his prior commitments. Whether the Chief Minister will appear before the ED or not remains uncertain.

In this case, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are already in judicial custody.
